1 Peter 1:3 · Hope
Reflection 1

Hope is a word we use casually all the time—we hope the weather is nice, or we hope traffic isn't too bad. But the hope Peter talks about isn't just wishful thinking; it is completely alive and active. Because Jesus actually conquered the grave, our hope has a heartbeat and a foundation that cannot be shaken.

Reflection 2

Look at whatever feels lifeless in your world right now. You might be facing a dead-end job, a deeply broken relationship, or a lingering season of quiet disappointment. God’s great mercy is designed to meet you exactly in those spaces, offering you a fresh start and a new perspective every single morning.

Reflection 3

Today, when you start to feel overwhelmed or discouraged, firmly remind yourself that your future is tied to an empty tomb, not your current circumstances. Let that truth change how you walk into your next meeting or how you handle a stressful moment at home. You can face whatever today brings with deep confidence, knowing the worst thing is never the last thing.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for the incredible, unearned mercy You show me every single day. When life feels heavy or uncertain, please remind me that my hope is alive and secure in You. Help me to walk in that quiet confidence today. Amen.
