Ephesians 4:27 · Deliverance
Reflection 1

Have you ever left a window cracked open just a tiny bit, only to find your house full of bugs the next morning? Spiritual compromise works the exact same way. When we hold onto small grudges, nurse our anger, or entertain toxic thoughts, we are essentially rolling out the welcome mat for the enemy.

Reflection 2

The enemy rarely kicks down the front door of our lives. Instead, he looks for the small, unlocked windows we casually leave unattended. That little white lie, the lingering bitterness toward a family member, or the secret habit we think we can control are all footholds. If we aren't careful, those small footholds quickly become heavy strongholds.

Reflection 3

Today, take a quiet moment to walk through the rooms of your heart and check the locks. Are you holding onto an offense that you need to finally surrender to God? Forgive quickly, speak the truth, and purposefully evict the thoughts that don't align with God's peace. When we choose to close those doors, we leave no room for anything but God's healing grace.

Prayer

Dear Lord, please show me if there are any areas in my life where I have casually left the door open for the enemy. Give me the courage to forgive quickly, let go of anger, and close any gaps with Your truth. I want my heart and mind to be a space completely filled by Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
