For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

Hebrews 10:36 · Endurance
Reflection 1

Waiting is hard, especially when you feel like you have been doing the right things. We all hit that wall where we want to give up on a relationship, a dream, or a prayer we have been praying for years. But quitting right before the breakthrough is a trap we fall into too easily.

Reflection 2

God knows that following Him takes a toll on our natural energy. That is why He highlights our deep need for staying power in our faith journey. Endurance isn't about just gritting your teeth; it is about trusting God's timing even when you cannot see the finish line.

Reflection 3

Today, look at the area in your life where you feel most exhausted or ready to quit. Instead of throwing in the towel, ask God for exactly enough strength to take just one more faithful step. Keep doing the next right thing, knowing that His promises are always waiting on the other side of your obedience.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for holding onto me when my strength runs out. Please give me the endurance I need today to keep stepping forward in faith. Help me trust that Your promises are absolutely worth the wait. Amen.
