When we are hurting, it is easy to read biblical stories of Jesus mending broken bodies and think of them as just ancient history. We might wonder if His compassionate touch was only meant for the people who walked the dusty roads of Galilee with Him. But the truth of who He is hasn't shifted one bit over the centuries.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The exact same heart that wept with hurting friends and healed the sick is looking at your current pain today. Whether you are waiting for physical relief, battling daily anxiety, or nursing a deeply broken heart, you are not praying to a distant Savior. You are talking to the active, living Healer who still loves to bring wholeness to His children.
Today, take a moment to bring your specific hurt to Him with renewed confidence. You do not have to beg Him to care about your situation or convince Him to notice you. Instead, simply rest in the fact that His nature is to comfort and restore, and invite His unchanging presence into your pain right now.
Dear Lord, thank You that Your love and healing power never expire or fade away. Please bring Your comforting touch into the areas of my life that are hurting today. Help me to trust that You are just as willing to restore me now as You were for those who asked You face-to-face. Amen.
