It is so easy to look at the week ahead and feel completely overwhelmed. Whether you are facing a tough conversation, a financial hurdle, or a health scare, fear has a way of creeping in and paralyzing us. We start wondering how we are ever going to handle it all on our own.
Isaiah 41:10

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
But God offers us a beautiful reality check: we aren't handling anything alone. His promise isn't that our problems will magically disappear, but that He will stand right beside us in the middle of them. When panic starts to rise today, take a deep breath and remind yourself exactly who is in your corner.
You can practically live out this truth by simply opening up your empty hands. When you feel weak or incapable, let that physical posture remind you that God is ready to grab hold of you and do the heavy lifting. You don't have to be strong enough today, because He is more than strong enough for the both of you.
Dear Lord, thank You for standing right beside me when life feels scary and overwhelming. Please lend me Your strength today and hold me up when I feel like I might fall. Amen.
