For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’
As adults, our scary situations look more like sudden job losses, medical diagnoses, or relationship struggles. When fear tries to take over, God doesn't just shout advice from a distance. Instead, He steps right into the mess with us to offer His personal presence.
Today, when you start to feel overwhelmed, try a physical reminder of His promise. Rest your right hand on your lap, palm facing up, and take a deep breath. Let that simple gesture remind you that the Creator of the universe is holding onto you, and He is perfectly capable of helping you through this.
Dear Lord, thank You for being close enough to hold my hand when life feels terrifying. Please give me the courage to face today's challenges, trusting that You are holding onto me. Amen.
