Psalms 107:20 · Healing
Reflection 1

When we are hurting, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually, we usually look for a quick fix. We search for the right medicine, the best advice, or an immediate change in our circumstances to make the pain stop. But sometimes, our deepest wounds require a different kind of remedy.

Reflection 2

God’s chosen method for our rescue is often much closer than we realize: He sends us His truth. When you feel trapped in a dark place or overwhelmed by brokenness, opening your Bible might feel like a small, insignificant step. Yet, those pages are filled with the very breath of God, designed to bring life into your deadest, driest spaces.

Reflection 3

Today, if you are desperate for healing or a way out of a heavy season, let God's promises wash over you. Don't just read to check a spiritual box; read to find your medicine. Write down one truth about God's love or strength, carry it with you, and repeat it to yourself whenever the pain or panic tries to take over.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You that Your promises have the power to heal my deepest wounds and pull me out of the dark. Please help me to reach for Your truth today when I feel overwhelmed or broken. Let Your voice be the soothing medicine my mind, body, and spirit need right now. Amen.
