Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Psalms 118:6 · Courage
Reflection 1

Fear has a way of making people and problems look bigger than they really are. A difficult boss, a stack of bills, a health scare, a broken relationship — any of these can consume your thoughts and steal your peace. But here's the truth that changes everything: the God who created the universe has chosen your side. Let that sink in for a moment.

Reflection 2

This doesn't mean life will be easy or that people won't come against you. It means that no person, no circumstance, and no opposition has the final word over your life — God does. When you really believe that, fear loses its grip. You stop making decisions based on what might go wrong and start living with a quiet, steady confidence.

Reflection 3

So how do you practically live this out today? When that anxious thought creeps in, name it. Say out loud if you need to: 'God is on my side. This situation is not bigger than Him.' Then take the next right step — make the phone call, have the hard conversation, show up to the appointment. Courage isn't the absence of fear; it's moving forward because you trust the One who walks with you.

Reflection 4

Think about what you've been avoiding because of fear. Maybe it's a decision you've been putting off or a conversation you've been dodging. Today is the day to stop letting fear call the shots. The Creator of heaven and earth stands with you — and that is more than enough.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for being on my side — not because I've earned it, but because You love me. Help me to stop shrinking back in fear and to walk boldly into whatever this day holds, knowing that no one and nothing can overpower Your purpose for my life. Amen.
