How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
Instead, it is about aligning your daily steps with what God has already said. Think of the Bible like a set of guardrails on a winding, foggy road. When you spend a few quiet moments reading it each morning, you are installing those guardrails to protect your choices at work, online, and in your relationships.
You don't have to read whole books of the Bible in one sitting to experience this. Try starting with just one chapter or even a few verses a day, asking God to show you one practical thing to apply. When you fill your mind with His truth, the distractions and temptations of the day naturally begin to lose their grip.
Dear Lord, thank You for giving us a clear guide for our lives. Please give me the desire to read Your truth and the strength to actually live it out today. Help me to keep my heart and my habits clean by walking closely with You. Amen.
