It is easy to get so caught up in our daily to-do lists that we forget who is actually in charge. When we pause to recognize God's true character, it completely shifts our perspective. He is perfectly good, completely set apart, and entirely above our messy circumstances.
Praising Him doesn't mean you have to put on a fake smile or pretend everything is going perfectly. It simply means taking a moment right where you are to acknowledge His power and goodness. You can do this while folding laundry, driving to work, or waiting in line at the grocery store.
Today, try to find just three small moments to stop and whisper a word of thanks to Him. Let His unfailing goodness remind you that your problems are not too big for Him to handle. When we shift our focus from our worries to His greatness, our hearts can finally find peace.
Dear Lord, thank You for being so completely good and entirely above my daily struggles. Help me to remember how great You are and to offer You praise right in the middle of my ordinary routines. Amen.
