It is so easy to look around and think everyone else has it all together. We scroll through social media or walk into a room and secretly rank ourselves against the people we see. But the truth is, every single one of us is broken and imperfect.

for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;
There is actually a beautiful comfort in knowing that nobody naturally measures up. It completely takes the pressure off of your shoulders. You do not have to exhaust yourself trying to be flawless today, because perfection simply isn't an option for any of us.
Let this shared human struggle change how you treat people right now. When a coworker messes up or a family member snaps at you, remember that they are fighting the same internal battles you are. Let our mutual need for grace make you quicker to forgive and much slower to judge.
Instead of hiding your mistakes, you can openly bring them into the light. Acknowledging your shortcomings isn't meant to make you feel guilty, but to point you straight to the One who fills in your gaps. Lean heavily into His mercy today instead of relying on your own track record.
Dear Lord, thank You for loving me even when I completely miss the mark. Help me to drop the exhaustion of trying to be perfect and rest in Your forgiveness instead. Please give me the heart to extend that exact same grace to the imperfect people around me today. Amen.
